Operation FoodSafe
An upcoming program to combat food insecurity in the communities we serve.

We harness the power of fandom to support marginalized communities — through events, access funds, consulting, and advocacy.

When someone in our community needs care they can't afford, our access funds help cover it. Your gift keeps them going.
Respawn, Operation FoodSafe, and the events we run for the fandom community — PrismaCon, PrismaLAN, and PrismaBall.
We help event organizers, businesses, and venues build spaces that are genuinely inclusive.
We speak up for marginalized communities and keep their voices in the conversation.

Supplies that keep people alive, no questions asked. Naloxone, test strips, and safer-use supplies — plus the six steps that reverse an opioid overdose.
Shout their name and shake their shoulders. If nothing, rub your knuckles hard on their breastbone.
Say someone is unresponsive and not breathing, and give the address. That is the sentence that gets help moving.
Nasal spray: lay them on their back, put the nozzle in one nostril until your fingers touch the bottom of their nose, and press the plunger all the way in. Injectable: draw up the whole vial and inject it straight into the outer thigh or the muscle of the upper arm.
Tilt the head back, lift the chin, pinch the nose shut, and give one slow breath every 5 seconds. Not able or willing to do breaths? Do hands-only chest compressions instead.
Use a fresh dose — the other nostril, or a new vial and a new syringe. Keep going every 2–3 minutes for as long as you have doses.
Naloxone wears off in 30–90 minutes and the overdose can come back. Stay until EMS arrives. If you must step away, roll them onto their side so they cannot choke.

To harness the power of fandom to support marginalized communities.
Fandom is more than a hobby or a passion — it's a community that can inspire, empower, and heal. We want to help build a more compassionate, inclusive world by celebrating the diversity and creativity of fandom, and by helping marginalized and underrepresented communities get the care they deserve.
What we believe — Fandom is for everyone. Access to community and care shouldn't depend on what you can afford. The people living a problem already know what would help, so we start by asking them. And joy is part of how a community gets through a hard year.
